If you’ve been to the shop lately, you may have noticed some changes happening. Now that all of the arrangmenents are final, I am very excited to announce that I have a new partner!
Effective today, I will be sharing the space at 200B High Street in Chestertown with the Chester River Packet Company. Now, you will be able to buy tickets for the Packet Boat or make arrangements for a private cruise in person. I am so excited to welcome Kelly, Greg and Stephanie from the Packet Boat to High Street.
Blue Canary Letterpress will also be taking over the gallery and gift shop part of the shop, with a focus on local and new artists. I’ve already stocked the shelves with more cards, and printed gifts, as well as jewelry and other gift items from local and regional artisans. If you are a local artist or fine craft maker interested in retailing your goods, stop by and we’ll talk.
I am so excited about this growth in the business. To celebrate, the Chester River Packet and I will be holding a celebration during First Friday on August 5. Stop by the shop anytime from 5-8 to see meet my new partners and see the new artwork. At 7pm, the Packet plans to leave for a sunset cruise on the River. Artist X Exum will also be on hand to meet and greet and talk to you about her artwork, featured in the shop.
